Zolpidem
Zolpidem is a medicine prescribed for patients suffering from insomnia. Its effects are used on affecting the activity of your brain and slowing it down to provide for healthier sleep patterns. Zolpidem is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding women as it has been classified as FDA pregnancy category C. The following mild side effects are sometimes reported by people taking Zolpidem: weakness, constipation, abnormal dreams, muscle pain, headache, dizziness, stuffy nose, nausea, blurred vision, drowsiness, lack of coordination, and sore throat. If you get any changes in your psychological health, such as depressed mood, changes in personality, unusual thoughts, confusion, no fear of danger, aggression, feeling restless, hallucinations, or anxiety, make sure you report them to your health care provider. Some drugs you are using may interact with other medicines you are taking at the moment. Make sure your doctor knows that you are taking sleeping pills, tranquilizers, cold or allergies medications, sertraline, antidepressants, mental illness drugs, seizure drugs, rifampin, pain medications, sedatives, or medications for anxiety. Do not take this drug for longer than 2 weeks, as an addiction is likely to form.
